Mountain Home Ranch Resort is a secluded country style bed and breakfast and group retreat center in the heart of California's beautiful Sonoma and Napa Valleys. We offer visitors a vacation that is different — informal and relaxing with a taste of the past. The absence of televisions and telephones in our guest rooms provides a peaceful freedom from the distractions of everyday life. We have over 300 acres of hiking trails, two swimming pools, tennis court, basketball, volleyball, labyrinth, game room, lake fishing, picnic area and bar-b-que pit. All of these facilities are available for guests to use at their leisure.

From San Francisco: Highway 101 North to Santa Rosa.Exit River Road head right(east) on Mark West Springs Road 10 miles. Turn left on Petrified Forest Road 2 miles. Left on Mountain Home Ranch Road 2 miles to end.

From the East Bay: Highway 80 North to Highway 37 West to Highway 29 North to Calistoga. Go one mile north on Highway 128, turn left on Petrified Forest Road, two miles to top, right on Mountain Home Ranch road, two miles to end.

From Sacramento: Highway 80 West. Take the Napa, Highway 12 exit, go 11 miles to Highway 29, north to Calistoga. Turn north on 128, go one mile. Left on Petrified Forest Road, two miles to top. Right on Mountain Home Ranch Road two miles to end.

Mountain Home Ranch Resort is a beautiful facility, but it is located some twenty minutes outside of town. We recommend that students book rooms at the resort. Mountain Home also has a delicious and nutricious meal plan available: Breakfasts are $11 per person, lunches $15 and dinners $20. "Our Chefs love to create with the freshest of ingredients and are inspired by what is currently available on the market. If you allow them to play, you will not only have all dietary needs met but your palate will enjoy a very unique experience.

Rustics: Simply furnished with beds, toilets & sink. Shower facility shared. Self maintained.

$30 shared per person per night, or $48 single; Pets $10.00

Lodge Rooms and Cabins: These rooms have private bathrooms and maid service.

$44 shared per person per night, or $75 single; Pets $10.00

Cottages: Located on the surrounding grounds, each cabin has a kitchen, fireplace, private bathroom, and maid service.

$59 shared per person, or $105 and up single; Pets $10.00

Please Note: Pricing does not include tax. All rooms and buildings are non-smoking. Pets are $10.00 per night per pet. Rates include full use of all recreational facilities. Check-in time is 4:00 PM. Check-out is 11:00 AM There is a 7 day cancellation notice or you will be charged for one night. Two night minimum on weekends.
